Thread: Find the local group policy editor

Hi,

this Microsoft Web page has tutorials for the Local policy editor:

To find it quickly though I click on search and then type:

gpedit.msc

press enter and up it'll pop.

While I'm not absolutely 100% positive, I suspect that, like in previous Windows Version the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) is not available in the basic version of the OS and you will likely need to upgrade to the Pro version in order to use it.

Absolutely correct, Trouble. It caused resentment toward MS, even back there. I guess they decided that anyone who used Home, should not be messing with those settings - lol-
Dunno if it was legal, but I remember I invented a crack to transport it from a free standing copy. From curiosity, I'll have to see if I can track it down.
